Prizes

Several awards are presented during the four day event. The most prestigious of them the Jean Monnet European Literature department of the Charente, is awarded annually by a panel of writers, critics and journalists.

Voices of readers found to be expressed by rewarding a European novel starting to discover a country with the Readers' Prize, sponsored by the Group Garandeau.
Equally important, the Jean Monnet European Youth calls on schools to discover contemporary European authors and to express their preference, while the Bouchon de Cultures Prize, created by Les Bouchages Delage, is in direct contact with the authors invited in November .

From the discovery, sharing, times when juries, readers and authors can express themselves and meet, that’s what we hope to bring with them various literary prizes, so go ahead : your books, get set, go !
