Readers' Prize - Cognac

2008 : Germany - guest of honour

This Prize was created in 2004 in collaboration with the Departemental library of the Charente, Charente Maritime and Deux-Sèvres and in collaboration with the many participating libraries. 
Since 2007, this Prize is sponsored by the Groupe Garandeau.

This Prize tends to :

- Help discover contemporary European literature and its authors
- Promote reading and communication amongst readers
- Develop foreign collections in local libraries


After Polonia - Portugal - Ireland - Norway
For its 5th edition, the Prize will explore aspects of Germany and its contemporary literature.
