Young Europeans' Jean Monnet Prize
The Young Europeans' Jean Monnet Prize was created in 2006 in collaboration with the Jean Monnet High-school, and in partnership with the Poitou-Charentes Region, and the Poitiers Rectorate.
Yet another prize ? In which way is this one different ? Which are its specificities ? The aims :
- Allowing secondary school pupils to discover contemporary European literature and pushing the young generation of authors into the foreground.
- Opening this prize to all students
- Giving the pupils a vision of reading as an experience of pleasure
- Fostering exchange, communication between pupils and writers
- And letting the students participate actively through the prize dimension.
